Distinguished Service Award
Awarded to recognize individuals or groups affiliated with the Section who have made exceptional contributions to enhance the quality of water resources in Wisconsin.
Examples of exceptional contributions include major contributions to education in water resources, significant scientific contributions towards improving the quality of water resources in the state, or several years of dedicated service to the Wisconsin Section of the AWRA.

Criteria
Past or present member(s) of AWRA - Wisconsin Section. Life-time or single exceptional contribution to the enhancement of Wisconsin's water resources
Nominations
Include documentation of nominee's contributions. Additional letters of support can be included. Please send nominations to the current President.
Selection Process
Solicit nominations from the membership in the fall with the call for papers. Nominations will be reviewed by the Wisconsin AWRA board at the January meeting. It is up to the discretion of the Board to make the award; it is not necessary to give an award every year. The winner will be announced at the annual meeting at the business meeting. A permanent display listing each year's winner will be kept at the Water Resources Institute.
